EXTINCT ANIMALS WHO COULD BE DANGER TO HUMANS!!

Ranging from small to big, about hundred's of species of animal get extinct everyday. But not all of these are harmful to us. Here is a list of some extinct animal species which would have caused us a problem if they were alive-

1)  KAPROSUCHUS

Kaprosuchus looks like an offspring of a T-REX and a crocodile. It looks like crocodile but it has long legs and it can run. There is no chance to get away from him. Its name means," Boar Croc" and it has been nicknamed as such,  This animal lived during the late dinosaur age so it got vanished when the mass extinction happened about 66 million years ago. It feeded on large mammals and would not have faced any problem while having a snack on human beings. Kaprosuchus  was mostly found in North America.

2) MEGALADON

If you think ,massive sharks in the Hollywood movies are just fake and ridiculous, then take a look at Megaladon. This massive shark grew to about 60 feet long, and one tooth was equal to the size of a human. This terrifying shark lived for 15 million years and feasted on meat until it went extinct about 2 million years ago. Megaladon is largest predator even known in the history. It weighted about 3 tons and its one bite could crush a big truck . Megaladon also feasted on small sharks which were not of their match. Isn't it creepy? We are glad that this animal is extinct or we could not have access to the oceans.

3) ANDREWSARCHUS

It isn't a dinosaur or reptile at all. Either it is a mammal. It lived during the middle Eocene Epoch, and lived in inner Mongolia, China  According to some researchers, ANDREWSARCHUS is the mammal Equivalent of a Velociraptor( Another large dinosaur) . It ate everything especially meat of smaller animals. It is believed that their descendants are goats and sheep. Its skull was three feet long making it the worlds largest mammal predator. Surprisingly, its weight was estimated to be more than 3 tons. It could run very fast and hunted mostly during early morning.

 4) MEGAPIRHANA

Small size piranhas are too much dangerous, as they can tear the flesh in an instense. But what if I tell you there existed something more dangerous? these were the Megapirhanas. These guys were anywhere between 71-128 centimeters and lived during the Late Miocene period in Argentina. After studying the fossils, scientist were able to figure out the tooth patterns of the fish, but the rest of the body is unknown at current. Maybe in future we will be able to explore these guys more

5) GIGANTOPITHECUS

Gigantopithecus went extinct about 1,00,000 years ago and it is the largest Ape ever existed. If this animal hadn't got extinct, he would be considered as to be the big foot. He as long as about 10 feet and weighted about 1,100 pound. It lived in tropical forest of China about 9 million years ago. Experts tell us that the giant figure of this animal and his limited diet might be reason for his extinction. The energy required by his body for reproduction and for other basic needs was not fulfilled making the species weaker and weaker and one day, EXTINCT. It feeded mostly on raw fruits and vegetables. It was highly aggressive and didn't like any one else in their territory. So we are better away from them.
